The single-slot VME450 power supply – filtered 28 Vdc, four outputs
(3.3, 5,
±12 V), 550 W – is a MIL-COTS solution that is compliant to the input transients per MIL-STD-704F (VME450) or MIL-STD-704A/F and
MIL-STD-1275D (VME450G) as well as the vibration requirements per
MIL-STD-810F and EMI per MIL-STD-461E. When compared to conventional technology VME power supplies, the one-slot VME450 provides user with higher efficiency (85%), lower weight (2.4 pounds), and higher power
(up to 550 W). Built with Vicor VI Chips, it uses two M-FIAM modules, six PRMs and six VTMs. An extended heatsink version of the VME450, the VME450A, is also available.
